Poppies
Most Poppies are annuals but some are perennials. The best way for sowing these seeds is to scatter them where you want them to grow and also if you add sand to your seeds then you will see where you are scattering the seeds which makes sowing them more easily and evenly. Best times for sowing is Autumn or Spring time.
If you want them to self seed then leave the seed pods intact and the wind will scatter the seeds for you. If not then remove the pods.
I am doing a trial sowing poppy seeds in peat pockets since they do not like root disturbance. Then when big enough will pot them into peat pots so it will minimise distrubance to the roots.
